This beautiful tavern clock is truly a longcase clock – it towers above the congregation in a local Cambridgeshire church. It was made by Henry Jenkins in London, and probably dates to the early 18th century. The movement was cleaned and serviced, and numerous rusty taper pins (including one unfortunately jammed in the central arbour) were carefully replaced before it was re-hung on the church wall, with the help of a number of volunteers. It looks absolutely magnificent.
